The morning sunlight barely entered the Rajvanshi's Mansion but the noise inside had already begun.
Utensils clattered loudly in the kitchen while harsh voices echoed through the hallway.
"Sai! Tu abhi tak ready nahi hui? As usual late for office". Shreya said with a bitter-sweet laugh.
Sai tightened her fingers around the dupatta she was folding. She had been awake since five, cleaning the house, making tea, packing lunch for everyone, yet somehow she was the one who was "late".
"I'm getting ready. You don't need to be worry about me."She said firmly.
Meanwhile her step-sister. "Attitude toh dekho madam ka. Asia k top most businessmen ki PA kya ban gayi ghamand badh gaya".
"Shut up Gunj. Don't you dare to raise your voice at me. " Sai shouted.
Shreya raised her hand on sai. But someone stopped her. They turned to see Rajveer Rajvanshi. Sai's Father.
"Don't Shreya.Dont." He added again." Tu ja sai and next time don't raise your voice at gunjan because I won't be there next time. This should be your first and last".
Sai nodded and headed to her office.
The girl who was supposed to be raised like a princess now just an unwanted child seeing her parents supporting their step-daughter instead of their own blood. She was just a
Bad luck.
Burdern.

Across the city , a very different morning was unfolding.
Inside the massive Raghuvanshi Mansion, the dining table looked like something out of a magazine.
But the atmosphere was tense.
"Krishav". His grandmother said sternly, placing a cup of coffee infront of him. "Tu 26 saal ka hone wala hai. "
Krishav leaned back on his chair lazily.
CEO of Raghuvanshi Enterprises.
Sharp suit.
Sharp mind.
And a temper that could scare an entire boardroom.
"I know my age dadi" he replied dryly.
"I'm talking about your marriage. You should forget that girl and move on. Tumhari company chal rahi hai, sab kuch perfect hai. Ab settle ho jao "
Advik choked on his toast. Laughing loudly and said mischievously to krishav.
"Bhai Shaadi kar lo, warna apki PA hi apko Sambhalegi."
Krishav shot him a look.
"Shut up chote"
"Sach bol raha hoon. Jab bhi Sai di kehti hai 'Sir pls calm down' aap toh seedha puppy ban jate ho". Advik laughed louder.
Krishav ignored him and said to his grandmother.
"Dadi...you once told me that when we truly love someone we don't just see them...we worship them"
Jasoganya frowned softly confused by the intensity in his voice. "What are you talking about krishav!?"
"Dadi.. tell me when was a devotee ever let go of their goddess? I didn't love her the people love and move on. I loved her the way temples stand for centuries and waiting for footsteps that may never return."
His voice dropped to a whisper that felt almost scared.
"I may not believe in God but Forgetting her would mean losing my everything. A man can survive losing love but he cannot survive loosing his goddess. "
He looked at the temple , diya flickered between his confession. His voice steady now. "I don't remember the day I fell in love with her... Only the day I started worshipping her. She was my faith and I proudly bowed before MY DEVI"
He said leaving everyone shocked.

The office building of Raghuvanshi Enterprises towered over the city. Employees hurried through the entrance like clockwork. After two days Sai walked in with her usual calm expression. Greeting the reception staff politely like nothing happened two days ago.
But whisper followed her.
"CEO ki PA hai "
"Lucky Her "
"She gets time to spend with him "
She ignored them all.
Krishav's voice echoed through the room.
"What the hell is this report!?"
Manager stood trembling infront of him.
"You call this work!?"
Files slammed onto the tables. Employees outside the glass wall exchanged nervous glances.
Then the door opened. Sai stepped inside calmly.
"Sir"
Krishav turned sharply.
"Not now Sai"
She walked forward and placed a fresh file on his desk.
"Sir, the correct report"
He opened it. His anger faded instantly. He looked the file.
Everything perfect.
Perfect Formatting.
Everything fixed.
"You did this!?" He asked.
"Yes"
He sighed and leaned back.
The manager almost cried in relief.
Sai gave him a subtle look that said LEAVE NOW.
He rushed out.
From the sofa in the corner, someone clapped slowly.
"Wah"
Krishav groaned
"Veer"
"CEO sahab ko tame karne ka talent sirf ek insaan k pass hai" he tensed.
Sai rolled her eyes slightly.
"Good morning Veer Sir"
"Veer bhai" he corrected "kitni baar bola hai"
Advik walked in too.
"Good morning Sai di".
She replied softly and left the cabin.
_______________
Later that afternoon. Sai was organising the files in the records room.
The corridor was empty. She didn't notice the footsteps behind her.
A senior employee stepped closer.
Too close.
"Madam" he said slowly.
She turned politely.
"Yes?"
His eyes moved over her in a way that made her stomach twist.
"You work very hard ". He said leaning against the shelf
She took a stepback.
"Please move"
Instead he grabbed her wrist.
Her breath froze.
"Relax baby." He whispered near her ear." Bas thoda friendly ho jao".
Fear shot through her like lightning.
"Leave me! Someone please help me". She cried.
"WHAT THE HELL is going on here!?" Krishav's voice thundered across the room. The man immediately stepped back.
Sai stumbled. Before she could fall, strong arms caught her.
Veer.
Her body shook completely.
"V-Veer bhai" She whispered weakly.
And then she broke.
Tears spilled down her face as she clung to him. His entire body went rigid. Rage exploded in his eyes.
Krishav roared." You touched her!?"
The man stuttered.
"S-sir i was just---"
Krishav punched the man in his face.
"How fucking dare you even look at her!? GET.OUT.before i kill you right here"
The man ran.
Veer looked at the trembling girls in his arms. His princess. His little sister. Who don't even know about his existence now clingling into him like her safe place.
He gently cupped her face." Shhh..Sai don't cry. You're safe here"
Her fingers cluthed his shirt tightly and something inside him snapped.
No one.
No one would ever hurt his little baby.
"Because what she didn't knew it yet was that fate had already reunited a sister with the brother who once vowed to protect her"

The elevator doors opened with a soft metallic sound that blended into the usual rhythm of the office floor. A women stepped out of the elevator didn't walk with nervous hesitation most new employee's carried. Instead she walked with effortless confidence, her heels tapping sharply against the polished marble floor as if the building already belonged to her.
The woman stopped at the reception desk and smiled warmly. "Hello" She said" I'm Maya Kapoor. I've been hired as the executive secretary. "
New secretary?
Wasn't I enough for him?
Why does it matter? Let him hire whoever he wants?
The receptionist said."We were waiting for you Ms.Kapoor. There she is. PA of Mr.raghuvanshi." She gestured towards me.
I looked up slowly as Maya approached my desk. Up close she looked even more polished. There was an aura of ease about her, like she was used to it.
"Hi" Maya smiled brightly"You must me Sai"
I stood up politely."Yes"
Her smile widened. "I've heard quite alot about you. Apparently half the company is run by you only. "
"That's an exaggeration."
She was frequently glancing towards his cabin where his silhoutte could be seen through tinted panels.
"Well" she said casually" I'm here to make things easier for you "
For some reason, the sentence felt strange.
Not rude.
Not hostile.

Inside the cabin, Advik was still leaning slightly against the couch. Veer scrolled through his phone.
Krishav stood near the desk reviewing a document.
The moment the door opened, all the three men looked up.
Veer immediately mouthed Advik." Movie level stunning "
"Good afternoon Sir " Maya said smoothly.
"Yes"
"I'm Maya Kapoor. HR hired me as executive coordinator. "
Krishav gestured towards the chair. "Sit"
Not noticing someone was watching his gestured silently. Someone he completely ignored the moment Maya kapoor entered.
Veer whispered to himself." Bechari meri princess "
Advik smirked. " Veer Bhai, this is going to be fun "
Veer elbowed him. " Mujhe toh abhi se Sai k naak aur kaan se dhuan nikalte hue dikh raha hai. Aisa lag raha hai woh abhi Maar dalegi dono ko"
Maya placed a folder on the desk.
" I've reviewed your operational reports and meeting structures. I've also prepared a few suggestions that might improve scheduling efficiency."
Krishav raised an eyebrow. "Already!?"
"Yes"
Advik leaned forward.
"Ambitious".
Maya smiled politely.
"Efficient".
Krishav opened the folder and skimmed the pages.
"Impressive".
Veer jumped immediately.
"See krish? HR did something right for once".
Advik added casually. "Honestly bhai, she might end up being more Efficient than Sai di".
Veer's thought: Efficient more than my princess? Not possible? Ruk advik k bache tera toh game bajana padega
(Author: Veer's protective brother mode activated. 😂)
Outside the glass wall. Sai's finger froze on the keyboard. She hadn't meant to listen. But the cabins soundproofing wasn't perfect.
More Efficient.
Her chest tightened.
Inside the cabin , Krishav galnced towards the glass wall. He noticed something subtle. Sai had stopped typing
Just after few seconds.
She resumed.
Krishav leaned back in his chair.
"Maybe"
Advik & Veer burst out laughing.
Eventually the meeting ended. Maya left for HR orientation. The office returned to it's usual routine. But the atmosphere around Sai's desk felt different.
Quiter.
Krishav stepped out of his cabin. "Sai" She looked up immediately.
"Yes Sir!?"
"I need the client file"
"It's already on your desk"
Veer walked past them and whispered loudly. "Someone's in trouble."
Advik added playfully. "Bhai played with fire".
Veer leaned towards Sai dramatically.
"Did you know, your boss think the new secretary is better than you!?"
Sai gave a small polite smile.
"I heard"
Krishav Froze.
He muttered under his breath.
"Ab madam k nakhre jhelo. Oh sai k krishna ji why always me!? Kya sochke 'maybe' bol diya maine."
(Sai k krishna ji be like: putra apki samasya ap hi ko jhelna chahiye. Main apne putri k khilaf nahi ja sakta.)
Both veer and advik left noticing the subtle tension going on.
Silence filled the space between Krishav and Sai.
He looked at her carefully.
"You heard that!?"
"Yes"
"And!?"
She shrugged lightly.
"Its fine. She seems more capable".
Krishav frowned.
This wasn't not the reaction he expected.
No anger.
No irritation.
Just calm acceptance.
And for the first time in years...
Krishav Raghuvanshi didn't know what to say next.
"Because somewhere beyond their unspoken words , fate was smiling quitely-waiting for the moment when two souls who once belonged to each other would finally remember. But somewhere in the unseen lines of Bhagya Rekha, destiny had already return the answes".
